The Peanut Wagon in Nanango was established in 1996.
The people who work in the van are Nanango ‘locals’ who have a great pride in their shire. They provide a wealth of knowledge for travellers from all Australian states and overseas as well including Europe, Asia, America and New Zealand.
A number of customers visit year after year, and many of them are the ‘grey gypsies’ or ‘grey nomads’ who travel Australia in their caravans.
